Pregnant Scholar’s back to school sessions will give you the foundation you need to be able to kick off the school year with confidence. Join us for one or all of our back to school rights review sessions to get up to speed on the latest law and best practices for supporting pregnant and parenting students and workers on your campus. Each session will be recorded and distributed to registrants.

Pregnant and Parenting Students’ Rights 101 | July 30 (12ET/9PT) | General review of rights under Title IX and related state laws

Pregnant and Parenting Students’ Rights and Accessibility | August 6 (12ET/9PT) | General review of rights and how they overlap and diverge from the rights of disabled students. Designed for staff members with a background in disability accommodations, but open to all.

Pregnant and Parenting Students’ Rights Open Office Hours | August 18 (1ET/10PT) | Need more info? Join this session for a 15 minute refresher on the core rights, followed by an open space to ask questions about accommodations, leave, and non-discrimination requirements.

Pregnant and Parenting Students’ Rights 101 (Encore presenation) | September 16 (3ET/12PT) | General review of rights under Title IX and related state laws

Pregnant and Parenting Workers’ Rights | October 8 (12ET/9PT) | Overview of the various laws that impact the rights of pregnant and parenting workers at educational institutions, including student workers.
